Project Focus
Projects.
Every Kinetra project begins with the land itself — its soils, water, people and production goals — and is built for durable productivity and resilience across Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
What we work on
Our project work spans six areas: regenerative agriculture (large-scale farming systems built around soil health and biological productivity), agroforestry (combining agricultural production with long-term landscape restoration), biochar and soil carbon (integrating biochar into regenerative farming systems), compost and soil biology (producing high-quality compost and biological soil inputs), land restoration (rebuilding degraded or underperforming agricultural land), and carbon credit development as a supporting capability within qualifying projects.
Featured partnership: New Beginnings Zimbabwe
Our most established partnership is with New Beginnings Zimbabwe, where we've run crop trials across regenerated land near Norton, Selous and Karoi, and into Malawi. The partnership produced Soil Enhancer, a natural fertiliser developed and bagged for field use, and Kinetra's first biochar made from industrial hemp — exhibited at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show. To date: 1,000 hectares regenerated, over 3,000 metres of compost windrows produced, a tobacco yield of 4.3 tonnes per hectare in regenerated-soil trials, and over 50 tonnes of biochar produced.
